Crituque
I have decided to use this scene because I feel as thought it is so powerful and important to the storyline. The scene between the two main characters is not only urgent but crucial . If you have ever read the story Pride and Prejudice you will understand the shear importance in this scene and dialogue. If I were to crituque the scene I would just say that it might be a little bit too heavy on dialogue. If you are not familar with old english or Jane Austens way of writing you might be confused by some of the vocabulary used in the scene. But I believe that if most of the vocabulary was simplified for the average human, that it would seem like a Jane Austen novel. Also the scene is rather long and if you are not understanding the vocabulary being said, then you get lost and bored. The actors are able to demonstrate what is happening with their mannerisms and emotions which can make it easier for a person to understand what is happening in the dialogue. The listening mode for this scene is very semantic because it is focusing on the relationship and the words that are being expressed in the scene. The space of this scene is subjective/emotional.
