Make Art & Learn
Art is an original girft one gets and anyone can do it. It doesn't follow instructions. It's about creating the uncreated. Art is risky and taking the risks gets us rewarded. Art is something that changes everything. Art is about creating the uncreated.
 Learning is all around, and your schooling is never complete. You hardly never find a job that requires you not to keep learning and obsorbing new information. We are always challenged to think differently. We are pushed to learn what we need to know every single day.


Being able to make art and learn new things are demonstrated through my blog in many ways. Before my Media 203 class, I never even had a blog. I had thought about creating one many times, but I never had the driving force to finally create one for myself. I had no idea how to even set one up! So by learning in class how to properly setup and run a blog I was able to learn a new skill. Blogging always seems to challenge me to be creative. Who wants to look at a boring, dry blog? I hope that by my colorful and fun blog setup people are intrigued to stay and read some of my thoughts. Not only do I want my blog to look artistic, but I want my word to sound artistic as well! It's a hard balance to maintain when trying to writing interesting and innovating things. Usually blog is either informational top heavy or just fluffy nonsense. I am hoping that I can spread the new information that I have learned and also show my creative thoughts through a successful blog.
I definitely feel that these exercises for our blogs are helping me be a better artist and student. Creating weekly blogs keeps you constantly creating and exploring new material. They help me keep on track with what is going on in our labs every week.  I am able to reflect on current work that I'm doing or going to do with each blog. Such as blog #1 when we talked about our characters, I was able to connect and understand my characters more with this process. With blog #2 I was able to express my creativity with sharing my favorite poem by Robert Frost. I was able to express why I loved this poem and why it meant so much to me. I also interpreted the poem and by doing this I was able to think creatively and outside of the box. With this current assignment I am able to clearly understand what making art and learning truly means. With the last assignment I will be able to further my knowledge on script writing and how to script a scene with sound. By using my mind in all of these ways it has only help me become a smarter and more efficient student. Overall these blog has done nothing but help my knowledge in art and learning.
